What is a "Dead" Group?

A Group that has NO Owner, because they have been removed from the site, went to a different site that caused commands made on the Cellufun servers without user knowledge or they fiddled with the URL.
....
This causes a Group's name to remain on a HomePage of all the other members, while giving an error message when you try to access it.
